Media Availabilities for HSTF-SE Exercise

MIAMI - The Homeland Security Task Force Southeast will be conducting a full scale exercise March 7 and 8 and will have three photo/video opportunities for members of the media.

Please be advised that this is a full scale exercise and the Joint Information Center will attempt to accommodate as many members of the media as possible. However, in the event we are not able to accommodate all attending media members, pool coverage will be necessary.  

A) Media Availabilities: 
    1) March 7, 2007 @ 10:30 a.m. - Start of Exercise Press Briefing at Miami-Dade Emergency Operations Center
    2) March 8, 2007 Offshore Non-Compliant Vessel Simulation 
    3) March 8, 2007 @ 3:30 p.m. - End of Exercise Press Briefing at Miami-Dade Emergency Operations Center

Media desiring to attend the press briefings are advised to enter the Miami-Dade Emergency Operations Center through the west media doors only.  Parking for media is designated on the west side of the EOC.

Details for media embarkation on the March 8 Offshore availability are still being confirmed and a media advisory will be issued as soon as possible.
